Beer Hawk is a speciality beer etailer, stocking more than 900 beers from artisan breweries from all over the world. We’ve been working with the brand to boost their sales through the affiliate channel.
In the lead up to Christmas, we worked closely with Beer Hawk to boost sales of their unique craft beer advent calendar through the affiliate channel. The brand set some huge targets for their advent calendar sales and they wanted to maximise results and expand the reach of their brand through their affiliate programme.
Through Rakuten Marketing’s account management team’s extensive knowledge of the publisher landscape, they identified a free exposure opportunity for the brand. This timely opportunity targeted a database of more than 10 million customers. By negotiating a cost-per-acquisition offer which aligned with Beer Hawk’s budget, the brand’s margin wasn’t negatively affected – while still reaching maximum awareness and sales volume through the affiliate partnership.
To date, the campaign has generated record voucher redemptions which translated to six-figure gross revenue. The brand has also gained a larger CRM database of new customers from the activity.
Looking forward to 2018, our Account Management team has been working strategically with Beer Hawk to run tests in order to optimise their programme further in the New Year. After the success of their advent campaign, Beer Hawk is looking to push the affiliate channel onto the next level.
